About Me
I was born, raised, and still reside in Central Illinois. I'm a passionate writer skilled in both advocacy and informative coverage, always in fact-based context. Words have extraordinary power, and I'm determined to use mine to inform and empower people.
In November 2024 I was elected to serve on my local Township board and have strived in my time as Trustee to encourage further community service.
I am passionate about political education and information access, and dedicated to being a helpful and informative voice.
Over the Summer in 2025 I worked as the sole newsletter creator and editor for a local Illinois Indivisible group with the goals of spreading information about local issues and political events and growing organizational membership.
In April 2025 I joined GovTrack as a staff writer on their new White House Tracker newsletter.
I have five years of leadership experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. I'm tenacious, hard working, and driven; always looking for ways to learn and grow. Although my decade-long career in banking has been fruitful and provided a multitude of wonderful opportunities, I'm working to break into a field that aligns more directly with my goals and values.
